Jack’s Cabernet Merlot doesn’t beat around the bush. Well defined character, ripe dark cherries, plum and black currant with toasty oak. Soft palate but full-bodied, plum, black currant and berry and great length of flavour.
The Riverina vineyard’s warm, dry summer delivered a clean, disease free vintage with great ripening conditions. Minimal rain during ripening and extended heat waves through the growing season gave all the reds seriously abundant ripe fruit characters.

The Winery is located in the New South Wales regional township of Yenda of around 1,600 people, 580km south west of Sydney and 500km North West of Melbourne.
Established in 1945 the Winery site had close ties with the development of the Riverina as a major Australian viticultural area.
With the capacity to crush and bottle 20,000 tonnes annually and store 14 million litres, the Berton Vineyards has grown since 2005 into one of the 20 largest wineries in Australia… and one of Bottle ‘n Barrel’s popular picks.
