Outback Jack Shiraz Cabernet

Set your taste buds to… stunned! Medium bodied, bright colour, vibrant berries aromas and sweet oak hints. Definitely not the bloke, but that’s his Shiraz-Cab to the letter. The Outback Jack palate is full on flavoured with ripe fruit of the forest, smooth tannins and a touch of oak.
In the vineyard a warm, dry Riverina summer meant a clean, disease-free vintage with great ripening conditions. No significant rain in the ripening period has boosted all the 2019 reds with abundance of ripe fruit characters, with most of our local Shiraz harvested over three weeks in February and March.

The Winery is located in the New South Wales regional township of Yenda of around 1,600 people, 580km south west of Sydney and 500km North West of Melbourne.
Established in 1945 the Winery site had close ties with the development of the Riverina as a major Australian viticultural area.
With the capacity to crush and bottle 20,000 tonnes annually and store 14 million litres, the Berton Vineyards has grown since 2005 into one of the 20 largest wineries in Australia… and one of Bottle ‘n Barrel’s popular picks.
