This absolute Riverina legend can do no wrong, wine-wise! ‘Jack’s’ Cabernet Merlot is brimming with varietal character. Ripe dark cherries, plum and black currant mixed with hints of toasty oak. The palate is a ripper, too! Soft, full-bodied, chockers full of plum, black currant and berry with a flavour that just hangs…!
In Jack’s vineyard? A warm, dry summer provided a clean, disease free vintage. Awesome ripening conditions across all regions, too. Stuff all rain but oodles of sun during the ripening period has given all the 2019 reds and absolute abundance of ripe fruit characters. Love your work, Jack!

The Winery is located in the New South Wales regional township of Yenda of around 1,600 people, 580km south west of Sydney and 500km North West of Melbourne.
Established in 1945 the Winery site had close ties with the development of the Riverina as a major Australian viticultural area.
With the capacity to crush and bottle 20,000 tonnes annually and store 14 million litres, the Berton Vineyards has grown since 2005 into one of the 20 largest wineries in Australia… and one of Bottle ‘n Barrel’s popular picks.
